All international students holding an Australian student visa are required to maintain valid Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the entire duration of their stay in Australia, as a condition of their visa.

OSHC helps cover the cost of medical and hospital care while you are in Australia. Students are required to arrange and pay for OSHC before arriving in Australia, and must ensure their cover remains valid at all times during their enrolment.

In line with requirements set by the Department of Home Affairs (DHA), students must hold OSHC for the full length of their student visa (Visa Length Cover). Failure to maintain valid OSHC may result in a breach of visa conditions.
